Coverage, security and code quality for coding agents
159 ★ on GitHub
What it is
Supercov tells your coding agent what to fix and what to test. It scores your code quality with Jev, runs the test command you already use, and turns uncovered paths into small, actionable queries. Your agent picks a target, writes a focused test or a focused refactor, proves what improved, and keeps going.
The homepage listed on the repository, supercov.com, puts it like this: Measure line, branch, MC/DC and assertion coverage, find security risks, and score code quality with Jev, so coding agents know what to fix. Open source.
Getting started
From the README:
npx supercov -- npm test # npm
uvx --from supercov-cli supercov -- pytest # PyPI
gem install supercov && supercov -- bundle exec rspec # RubyGems
cargo binstall supercov && supercov -- cargo test # crates.ioWhere the decision sits
supercov calls the hosted decision API rather than running its own weights. That keeps the project small and means its behaviour moves whenever the vendor ships a new model version. It also means an API key and a network round trip sit in the path of every decision.
Models it references: Jev.
How active it is
Created 2026-08-23, last pushed 2026-10-30, 159 stars and 6 forks when we read it on 2026-11-02. Everything in this category is weeks old at most, so a stale push date means something different here than it would on a mature project. Check the repository before you depend on it.
Find out what your data actually supports
We turn your historical decisions into a frozen test set, then tell you which model, which threshold, and how much of it you can safely automate.
